Headlight Tattoo is a New Jersey Corporation which was established in 1995 and is owned by Harry and Linda Ake. Harry Ake is a World Class Tattoo Artist, Mentor, and Friend to many in the Tattoo Industry. In addition he is an accomplished Body Piercer and business owner.
Headlight Tattoo & Body Piercing remains at the original location on Delsea Drive in Deptford, and is a nostalgic and significant part of South Jersey history. We recently expanded the studio to add an additional Tattoo area, making this location a comfortable home for all of our artists and piercers.
Hours: Open at 11:00 Monday -Saturday ; closing times vary from day to day . Closed Sundays

We are closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve at 5, and Christmas Day.
Appointments must be set up in person with a consultation and a $50 deposit which goes towards the price of the tattoo. Tattoo hourly rates are $100-180/hr+tax, depending on the artist, level of expertise involved, and the area of the body . You must be at least 18 for any tattoos, or 16 with a parent/legal guardian and proper identification for the parents and child.
We are currently offering Body Piercing Services -Mainly by Appointment, but will take walk ins whenever we can. We offer basic piercing services such as Earlobes, Cartilage, Rook, Daith, Nostril, Septum, Navel, Eyebrow, Tragus, and Nipples, as well as various parts of the ear. Lip and Tongue piercings are done by Harry . Female nipple piercings (18+ only) are done by female piercers only. We do not practice genital piercing, surface piercings, or microdermal piercings. You must be at least 18 for any piercings, or 13 with a parent/guardian and proper identification for the parents and child.
We use sterile instruments, practice aseptic technique, and use one-time use disposable sterile body piercing needles. All of our piercers are accomplished and highly skilled. We welcome any questions about procedures and provide written follow up care instructions and free aftercare products for most piercings. We also are available to provide follow up support if needed.
